Strange Potatoes!

I don’t know what they put in the potatoes at Akron, Ohio, but it causes people to make some interesting music. Their most famous musical export is Devo but they have spawned another band that wasn’t as famous but is just as interesting and original – Tin Huey! As a teenager I remember seeing their debut album in the local record shop many times but always skipped it because it looked “too weird”. Luckily some friends introduced me to it and and am I glad they did. Personally I skip the first track which is a very good cover of The Monkees “I’m a believer” but it has nothing in common with the rest of the album which is still as fresh and original now as it was back when it was released in 1979. Again, good speakers or headphones are recommended for best enjoyment. Introducing “Contents Dislodged During Shipment”…
